ITAC is building up his own exposition and consulting center for renewable energy, where theory and touchable practice have the same importance. In practical test are already different solar collectors, different heat pumps, different photovoltaics, heat pipes, installation modules  in parallel, serial way, Tichelmann concepts, drain back systems, low energy pumps and a own developed measuring station integrating all inputs and outputs (UVR1611).

Biogas plants have been developed already several years ago and will have a  central position for the self suffiency in the local area especially if the biogas can be inserted in the natural gas pipeline net.

Also the waste management system in Austria with the different possibilities of reuse was part of the research area of ITAC.
